2,500 Mourners Attend Autumn Pasquale’s Funeral

An estimated 2,500 people turned out for the funeral Saturday of Autumn Pasquale, the young girl who was killed last week two days before her 13th birthday. Two brothers, ages 15 and 17, are accused of the murder—prosecutors say they invited her to exchange bicycle parts. On Saturday, many mourners wore blue-and-gold T-shirts with the emblem: “Autumn Pasquale: Forever in Our Hearts.” Monsignor Michael T. Mannion told mourners. “Let her spirit and her soul connect with yours. There are so many ways that you can guarantee that this little girl didn’t die in vain.” [Philly.com]
