Homeless Guy Says Volunteer Stole His Shore House
A homeless man from Jersey is suing a real estate company and a volunteer who helps the homeless, alleging that they stole his house. The man currently lives in Tent City—a shanty town for the homeless in the woods of Lakewood—but used to be a successful carpenter who lived in a Bayville home. He’s suing because he says that the volunteer forged his name on a document that transferred ownership of his home. The volunteer says that the man signed the home over under his own free will.
