Ed Rendell Talks About Mitt Romney’s Soul

Mitt Romney was at the Union League on South Broad Street on Friday morning for a campaign event expected to bring in approximately $4 million. Meanwhile, former Governor Ed Rendell held a news conference to call out the GOP presidential candidate and his “47 percent” gaffe. Rendell says that the comments offered a “chance to look deep into Governor Romney’s soul.” He also thinks that Romney and company shouldn’t give up on Pennsylvania just yet.

I think they should invest in Pennsylvania,” Rendell said of Romney’s campaign. “Right now, where they are in the polls in other battleground states they might as well come back in Pennsylvania and play. But we’re ready if they do.” [Daily News]
