Mitt Romney Releases Tax Returns

Mitt Romney’s campaign issued a statement on Friday indicating that the candidate’s 2011 taxes will be made available before the weekend. While the entirety of the tax return information won’t be posted until 3 p.m., some of the juicy details have already leaked.

The entire thing will eventually be here, at 3 p.m. But according to his team, the Romneys paid $1,935,708 in taxes on $13,696,951, predominantly for investment income, for a 14.1 percent effective rate.
