A waiter in Atlanta turned a joke with friends into an official super PAC when he filed paperwork to register “Hall and Oates for America.” William Hansmann filed the paperwork with the U.S. Federal Election Commission on Monday. He’s listed as the treasurer and another man is listed as the organization’s chairman. Now that they’re official, they plan on releasing Hall and Oates parody videos of Mitt Romney. I spoke with the duo’s manager at Wolfson Entertainment who says that they were entirely unaware that this thing existed and are not at all involved.
