Former Please Touch Museum Sold

Isen Trust buys 70,000 square feet of space

The building that used to house the Please Touch Museum has been up for sale since 2008—when the museum was moved to Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park. The building—which occupies 70,000 square feet of space from 200-212 on North 21st Street—was originally listed for $8.5 million. The buyer has not disclosed what the actual sale price was but has indicated that the intent is for the building to become an art gallery and store. [Philadelphia Business Journal]
