Jimmy Rollins Headed to the DL
Strained his groin in yesterday's game
Jimmy Rollins has tweeted that he’ll be placed on the 15 day disabled list after straining his groin in yesterday’s painful loss to the Nationals. The Phils are home to take on the Mets for three games before hosting the Marlins this weekend. The immediate future for the team, though, might not be entirely bleak as Placido Polanco may be activated to take J-roll’s spot on the roster. [Philly.com]
