Friday, Aug. 5

It’s Women’s Weekend in Atlantic City. Original Sin features seven events starting today at 4 p.m. with two beach parties, a pool party and all-female poker tournament at Caesars.

The William Way screens sixties flick Look in Any Window (6 p.m.) starring Paul Anka as part of the Summer Movie Party sponsored by The AIDS Law Project. The film follows a teenage Peeping Tom in suburbia with a short documentary about the crooner.

Catch the closing art show tonight at Dirty Frank's

The “Black and White” show comes down at one of our favorite dive bars Dirty Frank’s. Catch it while you can during the closing night reception (6 p.m.).

Connie’s Ric Rac in South Philly is transformed into a speakeasy with no shortage of vamps, daddies and dames (7 p.m.) as part of the Freak N’ Queer festival. The password for entry is: three-dollar bill.

Zinc Bar in Lansdale hosts its Friendly Friday (9 p.m.).

Saturday, Aug. 6

The Slutwalk March & Rally starts at Kahn Park (11 a.m.) for a walk, roll, holler and stomp to City Hall in the name of women’s rights.

Airborne Toxic Event plays the Piazza

The Rotunda hosts The Gay Ole Opry (4 p.m.) as part of the Freak N’ Queer festival with music from My Gay Banjo, Karen & the Sorrows, Joshua Marcus, Red Rose and the Tea Bags.

Freak N’ Queer also presents Homo-Rama (5 p.m.) at Tritone with The Shondes, 8-Inch Betsy, Trophy Wife, Benni E., Sgt. Sass and Finger Banger DJs.

Radio 104.5 hosts its Summer Block Party (4 p.m.) at the Piazza at Schmidt’s in Northern Liberties. The free event features live shows by Airborne Toxic Event and the Naked and Famous.

In case you missed it the first time, Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus sings “Return of the Rat Pack” (7 p.m.) for free at the Burlington County Library Ampitheater in Westhampton, N.J.

Broad Street Ministry hosts Q Spot (7 p.m.), an evening for LGBT people with a social, HIV testing and other resources.

After Nicki Minaj takes the stage in Atlantic City, the Westside Bar & Lounge hosts the unofficial after party (8 p.m.) with Long Island Iced Tea specials served until six a.m.

Sunday, Aug. 7

Get some fresh air during Freak N’ Queer’s Gay as a Picnic Basket (11 a.m.) at Liberty Lands Park in Northern Liberties. It’s a dog-friendly event featuring live performances by Lust2Love, Attic Youth Poets, Alia, Teddi Tarnoff, Club Lifestyle, Shara Dae Howard, Sara Tundy, Philly Freedom Band, Ms. Jackie of the Bozo Nightmare, Joe Genero of the Dead Milkmen, Gepetta and DJs Lucky 7 and Lil Sis.

Freak N’ Queer closes the festival with On Cue (6 p.m.) at the 700 Club with house music by Battle Axe Baby, Just Jess, Klembott and more.
