Pulse: Chatter: Next Up: Wholl run the NCC?
Right after Joe Torsella left the National Constitution Center in January (he’s prepping to run for Arlen Specter’s U.S. Senate spot), the buzz began: Who will land his job? Some think current acting CEO Linda Johnson (formerly head of the Free Library Foundation) is keeping the seat warm for Governor Rendell, whose term ends in 2010. (We suspect Ed would rather do overnights on WIP.) A search is under way. Our picks for the post? There’s former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey, currently rubbing faculty the wrong way at New York’s New School, or maybe erstwhile Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Who knows more about the Constitution than someone who spent the last few years shredding it?
