With the continuing restaurant boom in Philadelphia comes an array of new choices to visit during everyone’s favorite after-work past time: happy hour. It’s that blissful hour or two after work where you can complain to your co-workers about what’s going on in your life over cheap wine and bite-sized snacks. Now with all new options, it’s time to branch out from your favorite watering hole and try these six new happy hours in Philly.

Brigantessa
1520 East Passyunk Avenue

East Passyunk is the Fifth Ave of restaurants. Between the endless possibilities, you can check out Brigantessa while waiting for your reservations at Laurel or before you grab some dumplings at Bing Bing. Brigantessa offers $6 on select glasses of wine and a couple of dollars off drafts from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.

V Street
126 S 19th Street

V Street’s happy hour offers $5 Sichuan soft pretzels, fried pickles and chilled kung pao noodles, along with their $5 and $6 cocktails. As if fried pickles weren’t enough already, V Street’s happy house is seven days a week from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Franky Bradley’s
1320 Chancellor Street

“The Happiest of Hours” at Franky Bradley’s features top shelf liquor, like Bombay Sapphire and Grey Goose, with your choice of mixer for $6, along with $6 house red or white and $3 select drafts. They also offer four appetizers for $7, like crispy brandade fritters and spicy smoked sausage. Their happiest of hours runs weekdays from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Kensington Quarters
1310 Frankford Avenue

Kensington Quarters offers $1 off all tap beer, tap wine and ground meat. They also offer 50% off bartenders choice, as well as $2 butcher’s choice in the butcher shop. Their specials run Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Abe Fisher
1623 Sansom Street

$7 select plates, wines by the glass and cocktails seven days a week. Got that? Abe’s happy hour runs from 5 pm to 6 pm, all week.

Beast and Ale
4161 Main Street, Manayunk

Tim Spinner and Brian Sirhal’s newest restaurant, Beast and Ale, offers a two-and-a-half long happy hour. Yep, from 4:30 pm to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. But you can always catch daily deals from them, like Beer Pairing Tuesdays, a select beer paired with a special bite for $10, or Whiskey Wednesday, $2 off all whiskeys and $7 whiskey flights. They even have a “Premier League” happy hour on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm, for those who want an early start to their day.
