More Crab News: New Jersey Crab Festival in Wildwood

In case yesterday’s crab news wasn’t enough for you, there’s this: On Saturday, July 19th, in Wildwood, New Jersey, another shore festival will take place. And this time, it’ll be a festival of crabs.

You wanna make jokes? I’ll give you a minute…

The fourth annual NJ Crab Festival will start at 11 a.m. and end at 10 p.m. at Wildwood’s Ice House Restaurant at 4415 Park Blvd. There will be the usual suspects: games (kid’s crab race at 6 p.m.), live music and a beer garden, and then all the blue crabs you can put your hands on. Break some claws, drink some “must try” Crabby Bloody Marys, and listen to Parrotbeach at 7 p.m.—a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, of course.

It’s all pay-as-you-go. It’s free admission. And if you’re not a crab-eater, you have other options from the many vendors that’ll be there (Harbor Fries, regular fries, hot dog, crab cake sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, Ice House Spring Rolls, U-Peel Shrimp, etc.).
