Restaurant Week Counter-Programming


Rejecting Restaurant WeekRestaurant Week is a boom to participating restaurants but that doesn’t mean its the only deal in town. Here are some restaurants that either by geography or choice are not included in the official Center City District Restaurant Week but are still offering deals.

Bistrot La Minette – Just outside of the Center City boundary, this French bistro is offering a restaurant month. From Monday through Fridays they are offering three courses for $30 or $42 with two glasses of wine.

London Grill – It started as a special just to frequent diners but now London Grill is offering a special $18.95 meal deal to all diners from now to Monday, February 8th. The deal includes fresh Maine lobster or a filet of beef and a salad.

Matyson – The Center City BYOB keeps their $45 prix fixe dinner going during Restaurant Week but they always do something to up the ante.

Meme – Every night but Saturday in January Meme is offering three courses for $35.

Pod – From Monday the 18th through the 21st Stephen Starr’s West Philadelphia sushi spot is offering all-you-can-eat sushi from 9 to 11pm for $25.

Snackbar – Snackbar is turning three this month and from Sunday January 24th through the 29th they’re offering a three-course meal for $30.

Trio – Fairmount’s pan-Asian BYOB is offering a four-course menu for $30 starting today.
