Another Reason To Visit Manayunk?

A couple weeks ago we wrote that the only weekend of the year it was cool to be in Manayunk was the bike race weekend. We thought it was a witty line and well, pretty much accurate. But that drew the ire of at least one Foobooz reader, who reacted angrily in the comments</a> and suggested Castle Roxx is the place to be with their $1 drafts and the other specials.
Well maybe the 2006 Manayunk Arts Festival can make Manayunk cool. 275 artists showcasing an impressive variety of work including jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting, glass, and mixed media. It’s this weekend and honestly, worth the stroll.
