Be Well Philly’s Free Summer Yoga Series Is Back
Namaslay with us on Tuesday nights starting July 9th.
If you haven’t caught on yet, Philly buzzes with pop-up fitness events in the summer. The best part: Most of them are free (!). We at Be Well are huge fans of those two “f” words — fitness and free — which is why we’re bringing back our completely free Yoga Flow series this July.
The series begins on July 9th and runs the following three Tuesdays, specifically July 16th, 23rd, and 30th. All four of the Tuesday evening classes will be led by instructors from the stellar Three Queens Yoga. Plus, while getting down (dog) outdoors is definitely cool, our yoga classes will be even cooler (literally) because they’ll be held in the Atrium at the Curtis Center in Washington Square. The sunlit atrium boasts soaring ceilings and a stunning marble fountain, which will make you feel like you’re basking in the summer sun without worrying about getting burnt or bit by mosquitoes. Perfect situation? We think — no, we know — so.
The classes, which start promptly at 6 p.m., will include an all-levels, 60-minute flow, meaning it doesn’t matter if you’ve never stepped foot on a yoga mat or have been practicing for years. We welcome you all. Even better is that your yoga practice will be enhanced by live music from DJ Eagle, so you can #namaslay to totally zen beats. After, stay for complimentary sips from our sponsor Michelob Ultra and some fun fitness- and wellness-related giveaways.
To take part in our version of summer happy hour, just show up! That’s right: It’s that easy. There’s no need to register or buy any sort of ticket in advance — it’s free, remember? All you have to do is bring your own yoga mat, some water, maybe a towel, and definitely a friend or two. We suggest arriving 15 to 20 minutes in advance, so you have time to roll out your mat, get situated, and squeeze in some pre-flow stretching.
We can’t wait to meet you on the mat!
