This Post-Broad Street Run Party Will Have Free Shake Shack, Beer, and Massages

Philadelphia Runner's Tailgate is totally free — but you do need tickets.

Indulging in some good food and beer after a long-distance race is practically a law in the running world. Thankfully, Philadelphia Runner has us totally covered for all our post-Broad Street Run necessities — including good food AND free massages.

The Philadelphia Runner Broad Street Run Tailgate party is going down in FDR Park from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 6. There, you’ll find lots of fun yard games — think ladder golf and cornhole — and music pumping. Meanwhile, Shake Shack will serve up some of their hot dogs and grilled cheeses, Yards Brewing Co. will pour the beer, and Honest Tea and Forto Coffee Shots will be on hand to make sure you’re fully covered in the hydration department.

Of course, there’s nothing that really hits the spot post-run like a sports massage from Rittenhouse’s Phila Massages. Their trained team will also be onsite to help you recover with free massages.

While the whole fête is totally free, you do need a ticket. To secure one, you’ll just want to swing by any Philadelphia Runner location (find them here), Shake Shack University City or Center City, or Yards Brewing Co. between now and closing time on Saturday, May 5.

Now, who’s ready to run? It sounds like the after party will be totally worth it!
