Go ahead and block off your calendar next week: Maha Yoga‘s yogahour is getting a makeover, and to celebrate it’s new look, Maha will be offering a week full of FREE classes in early April.

Not familiar with Maha’s yogahour? It’s a super-discounted — half the price of a drop-in at $8 — hourlong yoga class offered at least once a day, every day of the week. Mind you, these classes aren’t being offered at weird, off-peak times either — yogahour takes place at noon and 5 p.m. — prime time for the office-dwelling folks working in the buildings surrounding Maha’s Rittenhouse studio (1700 Sansom Street, 6th floor).

After chatting with their clients about how they can improve the beloved yogahour, Maha decided to give the class a little refresh — but don’t worry, the price and convenient times are totally staying. Basically, the main change is a faster-pace for the class. Why? Because faster pacing means you can squeeze in more poses to practice and master throughout class. Yes, please!

The new yogahour will be an all-inclusive alignment-based flow set to some invigorating tunes. Expect to have fun at this renewed all-levels yoga class that will be inversion-free — music to our nervous-about-inversion ears. The weeklong celebration of yogahour’s rebirth — chock full of free classes — is going down from Monday, April 2 to Friday, April 6. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will feature two free yoga hour sessions per day — one at 12 p.m. and the other at 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday offer up Maha’s 5:15 p.m. slot for some free yogahour action.
