I know, I know — it feels like the 2017 Philadelphia Marathon just happened. And yet here we are, a few months later, already thinking about next year’s race. But here’s the thing about jumping on things early: not only are you giving yourself plenty of time to plan and train, you also can get in on some sweet early-bird pricing.

The 2018 AACR Philadelphia Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, November 18, and the 2018 Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, the Rothman Institute 8K Run, and the Dunkin’ Munchkin Kids Fun Run are all scheduled for Saturday, November 17. Registration for all these races is now open, and if you’re ready to commit, don’t dally: between now and April 14, discounted registration is available.

If you hurry, you can register for the half marathon for $90 (regularly $135) and the marathon for $100 (regularly $155). There’s also early bird pricing available for the Rothman 8K run and the three race weekend challenges — which involve running multiple of the weekend’s events.

Ready to take the plunge? Grab your credit card, head to the Philadelphia Marathon website, and start mapping out that training plan.
