You Can Take $5 Yoga, Barre, HIIT, and Dance Classes at This Philly Fitness Event

Three cheers for cheap boutique fitness.

Look, we love boutique fitness classes. It’s practically our job. But even we have to admit that paying for $30 classes kind of makes our resolution to be a financially stable adult in 2018 a little bit trickier. That’s why we are so into free workouts and crazy discounts — like $5 fitness classes.

On January 28, Kimpton Hotel Monaco is hosting their annual fitness showcase, Resolution Rx 2018. And at the event, you’ll have the chance to take a whole host of chic boutique classes for — that’s right — just $5. And the very best part? That $5 will be donated to Back on My Feet, the Philly nonprofit that uses running to fight homelessness.

The day will kick off at 10 a.m. with simultaneous Allongée Barre cardio sculpting, Three Queens Yoga all-levels flow, and Freehouse Fitness booty-toning classes. At 11 a.m., those same three studios will teach a second session. At 12 noon, Brian Duren of City Fitness will lead a metabolism-busting HIIT workout, while the Boss Chick Dance Workout will lead an all-women class through a high-intensity hip hop “twerkout.” The workouts will then finish with a repeat of HIIT and the dance workout at 1 p.m.

You can sign up for any of those classes for $5 each at Eventbrite. But anytime you’re not sweating it out, you can snack on some healthy bites from Red Owl Tavern or chat with the pros from SoulCycle and Solidcore who will be on hand to answer all your questions about their must-have tips and techniques.

Ready to get in a week’s worth of sweating in one day? Kimpton’s Resolution Rx 2018 will take place on Sunday, January 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get tickets here.
