Where to Take Free Outdoor Spin Classes (With Post-Workout Beer!) All Month
The days of ALL the free summer workouts series are coming to a sad end, but fortunately, SWEAT Fitness is filling the void — at least for the month of September — by expanding on their Sweat + Sip series. This time, they’re focusing on cycling with a month-long free workout series called Cycle + Sip, open to anyone and everyone.
Here’s the deal: All month long, SWEAT will be hosting a free weekly outdoor spin session — followed by a complimentary post-workout beer and a cold towel! — on the sidewalk outside of three of their locations (Manayunk, Conshohocken and Fitler Square). The month of cycling fun starts tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6th, at the Fitler Square Sweat Fitness location. While each session is totally free, you do have to grab a ticket beforehand because bikes are limited — there are only 14 spots for Manayunk classes and 15 for Fitler Square and Conshohocken classes. You can score your tickets for all three locations here. There are still some spots available for this week, so if you want in, we suggest you snag ’em quick. The sign-up pages are made available weekly (meaning you can’t be a hog and sign up for an entire month’s worth of classes at once) and each new week’s sign-up page is released the day after the last class at that location.
Class days and times vary for each location: Cycle + Sip takes place at SWEAT in Conshohocken (200 West ridge Pike) on Mondays from 6 to 7 p.m., Fitler Square (200 South 24th Street) on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Manayunk (4151 Main Street) on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m through September.
