If you've always been too afraid you'd fall into the Delaware during one of Aqua Vida's stand-up paddleboard fitness classes, take note.

Remember how last year, Aqua Vida, the floating fitness studio behind the beloved SUP fitness classes at Spruce Street Harbor Park, took their much-loved stand-up paddleboard yoga classes indoors, hosting them at Drexel’s indoor pool through the winter? Well, good news, SUP yogis: Aqua Vida is taking things indoors again this year — and they’re getting started way earlier this year. Their first indoor class is this weekend! Insert all the praise-hand and wave emojis here.

The ladies of Aqua Vida will be bringing their 75-minute floating yoga classes to the Drexel Recreation Center pool (3301 Market Street) on select Saturdays at 10 a.m., starting this Saturday, November 19th. Along with floating yoga, they’ll also be offering AquaSculpt (they describe that class as a floating mat Pilates class) and their AquaFIT (think: high-intensity interval training workout done on the stand-up paddleboard) classes at the pool on a pop-up basis throughout the colder months.

Classes will run you $25 for your first class, and $35 after that (cheaper than last year!). And for all the SUP junkies out there, yes, class packages are available. You can check out the schedule and sign up here. Here’s to getting your zen on without fear of falling into the Delaware River!
