The Color Run’s nighttime run — aptly titled the Color Run Night — is returning to Philly for a second year, run organizers announced this week. The Philadelphia event is set for October 10, 2015.

Like its sister run, the Color Run, this untimed 5K includes multiple color-blasting stations, only these powdered colors glow under a black light. Participants get a glowing t-shirt, black light headlamp, glow sticks and a glow color packet for some extra color juice. There’s also a post-race finish line party with lots of music and dancing.

No word yet on where the run will be held — I reached out to organizers yesterday but haven’t heard back — but if it’s any indication, last year’s debut Color Run Night was held across the river in Camden, and next month’s Color Run will be held there, too. Soooo, I’m thinking Camden is a solid guess.

Registration is not yet open for the run, but you can sign up here for email alerts to be among the first to know when it goes on sale.
