Free 5-Week 5K Training With Sweat Fitness Launches This Week
If you’re new to running and training for a spring 5K, here’s something to add to your calendar: Sweat Fitness’s Run Club is launching a free five-week 5K training program for members and nonmembers alike.
The fun gets underway this Thursday, March 5th, at 6 p.m. (weather-permitting, of course) at Sweat Fitness’s Queen Village location. Staffers will lead an all-levels group run. The program is geared toward training for the Hot Chocolate 5K on April 4th, but you don’t have to run that race to participate.
Sweat will also be kicking off a 5K training program at its King of Prussia location, with a TBD day and time that’s convenient for all who sign up.
Each week, the gym will be post training tips on its website to keep you moving on non-run club days. Check out the first week’s plan here.
