To Do Tonight: Watch American Meat in Manayunk

A documentary screening about healthy meat farming in the U.S.

If you’re a mindful meat-eater, this documentary sounds like a must-see. Tonight at 6:30, the Manayunk-Roxborough Food Co-op Initiative and Weaver’s Way will host a screening of American Meat at the Kendrick Recreation Center.

The recently released documentary aims to enlighten viewers about the power of sustainable meat-farming practices in America. It looks at what local farmers are doing on a small scale, and asks the question: Could these farming methods be enough to sustain us all? Check out the trailer here.

Eight bucks gets you in the door to view the film, while all proceeds benefit the Manayunk-Roxborough Food Co-op.
