To Do: Bipartisan Yoga at DIG Philadelphia

DIG Yoga invites the left and right sides of your body to coexist peacefully (and maybe politically, too).

I first imagined this workshop to be a space for Republicans and Democrats to hold hands as they maintained an impressive upward-facing dog, but DIG Philadelphia’s interpretation of the event makes a whole lot more sense. Left Side/Right Side: Bipartisan Yoga with Lois Nesbitt will address the relationship—particularly, the inequalities—between the left and right sides of your body and show you how to properly balance yourself for the future. The first session (from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.) will be hands-on, incorporating symmetrical and asymmetrical poses to help both sides of your body to talk to each other, while the second session (from 3 to 5 p.m.) will be more theoretical, allowing you to discuss and analyze your body’s imbalances and how to reshape the way you practice yoga. Learn more and register here.

$30 single session, $50 both sessions, February 2nd from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., DIG Yoga, 410 Monroe Street, Philadelphia.
