Video: “You Have 4 Minutes” No. 1
If there’s one phrase I hear more often than any other from the mouths of people I encounter on a daily basis, it’s “I just don’t have time to get in shape.” As a working mother of three, I can sympathize with the exhaustion that so many overworked Americans feel every day. We can hardly fit in time to prepare a healthy meal, and now we’re expected to exercise? The truth is that I don’t have to time to spend hours in a gym everyday either. Some days the most exercise I get is running loads of laundry up and down three flights of stairs. And guess what? That’s enough.
Combining my own experience getting back into shape after three kids and a proven method of exercise called Tabata, I created a series of routines and video workouts that would be intense enough to work an experienced athlete into a great sweat, but uncomplicated enough for a beginner to follow. I call this series “You Have 4 Minutes.”
These routines can be performed during a commercial break of your favorite television show or while you’re waiting for your morning coffee to brew in the pot. All you need is four short minutes to jumpstart your day and get your heart pumping!
