Help the Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park maintain the area and “foster good neighborhood relations and strong community ties” by running the Great Eastern State Breakout 5K Race on October 15th. After you’ve burnt a few calories, replenish your energy at the post-race complimentary breakfast, including eggs, bagels and coffee. Get your friends involved, too: A five-person team gets 20 percent off the registration fee.
