If you have yet to make it out to the Manayunk Bridge Trail — the new-ish bike-and-pedestrian bridge that connects Philadelphia and Montgomery County — here’s a reason to go check it out: On Saturday, April 16th, there will be tons of free fitness classes going down on the bridge throughout the day.

The free classes — including yoga with Hotbox Yoga, a boot camp with Never Give Up Training, Crunch at Lunch with GoalsFit, barre with the Wall Cycling Studio, and a group run with Philadelphia Runner — are part of Manayunk.com and Destination Schuylkill River’s Manayunk Trail Celebration. After your sweat session, Whirled Peace Frozen Yogurt and Smoothies will be on deck giving out samples and slinging frozen yogurt. (Here’s to hoping it’s a bit warmer by then!)

Folks will meet for the fun, happening between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., on the Philadelphia side of the bridge, at the Cynwyd Heritage Trail and Dupont Street in Manayunk. No need to sign up for the classes ahead of time; just show up ready to sweat, with a mat if you’re headed to yoga. You can find more and see the full lineup of classes here.
