This week’s issue of Us Weekly is out, kids, and in it are the only published photos of Lauren Conrad‘s wedding dress.

My initial thoughts? 1) Her Badgley Mischka dress is absolutely gorgeous. 2) I can’t really see her absolutely gorgeous Badgley Mischka dress. Matter of a fact, that lovely sketch you see right here is the best full-length photo we’ve got yet!

The custom dress that the design duo created for Ms. LC is a “two-tone ivory Chantilly lace dress embroidered with Alencon lace and dusted with crystals, pearls, and baby glass beads.” And, apparently after being a part of a photo shoot where she saw a dress with a giant train, she requested, well, a giant train. The one on her dress is 10 feet long, which I have to say, I love. It’s dreamy. And the back is unreal (which you will see below).

In order to properly move on the dance floor, the bride traded in her dance-restricting train and hopped into a strapless lace Monique Lhuillier dress for the reception, which I also love. (And which you will also see below.)

But here’s the thing. This is the most we really see of the dress!

That bouquet is seriously to die for and I love it, but it is blocking the dress. You can tell from the shot on the cover of the magazine and from all the other obscured, often-sitting shots throughout (also see above) that the gown has a high neckline with an illusion-lace top, it looks like—but we never really see it.

We do, however, see the Monique:

Oh well. There are many more photos where these came from, and if you like her and you like weddings, you will definitely enjoy reading about how it all came together. No surprises, here: she has absolutely lovely style, and it came through in every aspect of their celebration, and isn’t that the goal? You want your wedding day to feel like the two of you, and from our outsider’s perspective, this looks like a success.

Now,  go grab the magazine and tell me if you agree. We want the dress! Here’s hoping if we pay attention to her Instagram account, the newly married style maven will eventually show us the goods.
