The weeklong celebration of LGBTQ+ cinema starts Monday.


The 2018 qFLIX film festival starts Monday with a screening of Hello Again.

qFLIX, the annual festival of LGBTQ+ films, is back, and once again with another lineup of movies you might not otherwise get to see on a big screen. It all kicks off Monday with Hello Again, Tom Gustafson’s adaptation of the wild, time-skipping, romantic off-Broadway musical. The stacked cast includes Audra McDonald, Cheyene Jackson, Martha Plimpton and Sam Underwood. Other highlights include:

Denis Côté’s documentary explores the pain and obsession of competitive bodybuilders.

Bi China @ Connelly Auditorium | Saturday March 24
Chinese director Wei Tingting’s insightful documentary on bisexuality.

All Male, All Nude @ Plays & Players Theater | Saturday March 24
Gerald McCullouch explores a gay strip club “located in the heart of The Bible Belt.”

The Feels @ Connelly Auditorium | Sunday, March 25
Jenée LaMarque directed this romantic comedy about a bachelorette party that takes an unexpected turn. Stars Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat).
