Get our weekly picks of what to do this weekend and the latest on Philly's arts and entertainment scene.

Outdoorsy Weekend
Enjoy all the best elements of camping this weekend–minus the tent pitching and "Kumbaya"–without leaving the city. The Oval pop-up park returns for a full weekend of outdoorsy programming. Fire pits, storytelling, rope courses and live music will be included, plus Oval classics like the beer garden, alfresco movie screenings, games, and food truck fare. There will be tons of kid-friendly activities, including face painting and an urban playground. Oh, and don't miss the Eagles vs. Rams game, which will air live on the big screen in the park come Sunday. For a full schedule of festivities, click here. Friday, October 3rd-Sunday, October 5th, The Oval, 2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

First Friday
Celebrate October's First Friday with an evening of gallery-hopping. Tonight, art enthusiasts can look forward to creative gatherings, new exhibitions and artist receptions throughout the city, including First Friday! Flamenco Fiesta at The Barnes Foundation and Art After 5 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Check out our guide to this evening's other artsy happenings right here. Friday, October 3rd, various locations.

Brandywine Harvest Festival
Calling all oenophiles! Head to the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail this weekend for the 12th Annual Harvest Festival, where you can celebrate the grape harvest at all six of the trail's wineries with picnics, live music, hayrides, grape stomping, and samplings of the 2014 vintage. Check out a full schedule of festivities for each winery right here. If you're feeling ambitious, a $15 festival passport (which includes admission to each winery, plus tastings) can be used both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase online. Saturday, October 4th-Sunday, October 5th, Brandywine Valley Wine Trail.

Midtown Village Fall Festival
October is here, which means binging on autumnal festivities is finally socially acceptable. For this weekend's fall fix, Midtown will celebrate the season with endless food tents (Barbuzzo, Zavino, Sampan, and all your favorites), eight beer gardens, and all-day live entertainment. The action will take over seven blocks throughout the neighborhood for some serious fall festing. Saturday, October 4th, 12 p.m.-8 p.m., Midtown Village.

Bacon Festival
We had you at bacon, right? This Saturday, XFINITY Live! will bring together the best local restaurants, food trucks, and vendors for a celebration of all things bacon. We're talking bacon samplings, bacon cuisine, bacon eating contests–everything from your wildest bacon dreams. There will also be live music, full bars, cooking demonstrations, and food options for the less carnivorous. More information and a full list of vendors can be found here. Tickets can be purchased online. Saturday, October 4th, 1 p.m.-8 p.m., $25, XFINITYLive!, 1100 Pattison Avenue.

Philly Love Fest
Spread love the Philly way this weekend. Celebrate the opening of UNIQLO, and all sorts of brotherly love, at the day-long Philly Love Fest. Don't miss a live set from The Roots' drummer Questlove, runway shows, food trucks, kid-friendly entertainment, and more fun shenanigans. More information is available here. Saturday, October 4th, 1 p.m.-5 p.m., Smith Memorial Park Playground and Playhouse, 3500 Reservoir Drive.

Fall For The Arts Festival
This Sunday, Chestnut Hill will transform into an outdoor marketplace for a full day of art, live entertainment, and delicious eats. Germantown Avenue will be packed with arts and crafts vendors to browse (with handmade goods, photography, paintings, sculptures, jewelry and more), two music stages, exhibits, and children's activities. It looks like it'll be a little fall fun for everyone. More information can be found here. Sunday, October 5th, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Germantown Avenue (between Willow Grove and Rex Avenue).
