Excitement surrounding the Democratic National Convention’s impending arrival isn’t just limited to events inside Convention walls. In fact, one of the things we were most excited to learn as we crafted our comprehensive guide to political festivities is that there will be a slew of delightful programs, deals and specials occurring throughout Philadelphia during the DNC — and almost all of them can be found on Twitter and Instagram under #DNCDeals. 

The Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention has invited local restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques and attractions to participate in #DNCDeals by using the hashtag on their social media accounts to spread the word about what they’re offering customers during the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Participation will vary according to shop: Gayborhood bath product and wellness shop Duross + Langel, for example, is offering daily deals, ranging from discounts on soap to specially priced lotion. Meanwhile, McGillin’s, Philadelphia’s oldest continuously operating tavern, is offering patriotic sips and eats.

Luckily, loads of eateries, shops and attractions are participating.
