What’s In Store: Knit Wit’s Coolest New Line

Knit Wit has long carried the modern darlings of the fashion world: Alexander Wang, A.L.C., Jil Sander, Phillip Lim, Helmut Lang. But what really gives a boutique star quality in my eyes is its ability to constantly and consistently sleuth out the up-and-comers, those lesser-known lines you don’t know but will surely adore. Case in point: Knit Wit’s curated array of pieces from Each X Other, an androgynous, art-slash-fashion line, made in Paris and comprised of pieces like gauzy sweatshirts, poetry-strewn silk scarves, crisp white shirts with thoughtful prose hidden beneath the collar, words stretching up the leg of a well-tailored tuxedo pant. It’s an elevated version of the ubiquitous graphic tees and sweatshirts—and proof that fashion, like poetry, is art.
