Trinity Tuesday: Rasmussen/Su Society Hill Addition

The Philadelphia architecture firm Rasmussen/Su is very good about answering questions on Houzz.com, where people try to get ideas for home decor, renovation and interior design. One of the firm‘s eternally popular galleries on the site is of a trinity addition.

On its website, the trinity addition project is explained this way:

Taking cues from the existing homes lining this narrow Society Hill lane, Rasmussen/Su carefully designed this addition to integrate harmoniously with its historical setting. Its façade reinforces the lines of the adjacent structures while allowing ample natural light and air to enter the home through a series of large, modern windows. Inside, an open stair links the new spaces to the old, knitting both into an elegant and unified whole.
