Mindy Kaling on Being a Bridesmaid: “You’re Like a Slave, an Unpaid Slave, to the Wedding.”
Actress, New York Times bestselling author and all-around funny girl Mindy Kaling has been in her fair share of bridal parties—and she has plenty to say about the whole bridesmaid thing.
On Late Night with Seth Meyers last week, Kaling spoke candidly about what it’s really like to be a bridesmaid (“You’re essentially like a maid,” she says—complete with a uniform) and it’s all pretty hilarious.
Plus, she says, the groomsmen have it easy since “all they do is like drink beer and play with the dogs and stuff,” which we kinda sorta have to agree with.
