From the Outfit Changes to the Adorable Mother-Son Dance, Here’s All the Details About Solange Knowles’ Wedding Weekend
Solange may be the second most popular Knowles in the family (big sis Beyonce takes the top honor) but boy does that girl know how to throw a fantastic wedding celebration. The Internet has been abuzz with photos and details galore since the singer and actress married video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Sunday, and it’s easy to see what all the hype is about.
Let’s start with Solange’s bridal style, which happens to be the most talked about element of the entire wedding weekend. From the rehearsal dinner through the Big Day, the bride rocked six stunning outfits in total, all of which followed the all-white dress code (and it seems Solange shares her sister’s affinity for bridal jumpsuits). Our favorite: The Humberto Leon for Kenzo floor-length gown and cape she wore down the aisle.
Gorgeous, right?
After the bride- and groom-to-be arrived at the ceremony on darling white bikes, they tied the knot inside the Marigny Opera House, which also served as the location for their seated Southern dinner and the first of two receptions. The party then continued at the New Orleans Museum of Art, where Solange and her son Julez broke it down for the crowd.
Now that looks like one fabulous wedding!
