You’re Totally Going to Want This: The New Vogue Weddings Book
My obsession with coffee table books is no secret—in fact it’s quite obvious to anyone who steps foot in my house. But how could one not love these oversized, heavy-as-a-brick publications? They’re pretty to look at, perfect conversation pieces and double as décor for your living room.
Now, thanks to the editors at Vogue, I will soon be able to indulge my passion for coffee table books and all things weddings simultaneously with VOGUE WEDDINGS: Brides, Dresses, Designers. This 372-page read is filled to the brim with romantic, colorful and awe-inspiring images (over 400 of them—both color and black-and-white from names like Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Irving Penn) that have appeared throughout the magazine during its 120-year history.
There’s society weddings and celebrity weddings and royal weddings and loads of stunning bridal portraits, plus there’s a Wedding Designer Guide that shines a spotlight on ten of the most distinguished names today in bridal wear (plus, the book’s forward is by Vera Wang).
Whether you pick up a copy for yourself as a little wedding-planning treat or hint to your crew that it’s on your wish list (who says every single gift has to be from your registry?), it’s safe to say it’d be nice to take a few hours off from flipping through your planning binder, and flip through this.
It’ll be out on October 30th with a suggested retail price of $85, but you can pre-order it now at Barnes & Noble and Amazon for about $55.
