Supper Hosts Fifty Shades of Grey Dinner
While I admit I haven’t hopped on the Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon quite yet, there’s surely no shortage of loyal fans drooling over the titillating trilogy. If you’re one of these readers who can’t get enough of E L James’ fascinating saga, now is your chance to dine like Ana and Christian at a special evening at South Street’s Supper. (Though whether you choose to actually invite your groom or a group of girlfriends—night out with your ‘maids, perhaps?—we’ll leave up to you.)
Supper proprietor Jennifer Prensky and her husband, Executive Chef Mitch Prensky, invite you to join them on Wednesday, June 27 for a one-time only dinner in celebration of the Masked Ball from Fifty Shades Darker. (If you’ve read it, you’ll no doubt remember what night they’re talking about.)
Guests will feast on a four-course spread taken directly from the pages of the famed novel as Chef Prensky recreates the ball’s elaborate menu (check it out in its entirety, below). Priced at $65 per person, the menu features all of the dishes served at the Masked Ball—and for an additional $100, guests have the option of sampling the exact wine pairings from the book, as well.
And, in true Fifty Shades fashion, Center City’s high-end lingerie and toy boutique Coeur will be in attendance with an exclusive pop-up shop showcasing some seriously gorgeous lingerie (perfect for the honeymoon!) and an assortment of the, um, items referenced in the sexy series.
To make a reservation for the Fifty Shades dinner, call 215-592-8180 by Saturday, June 23.
