Where to Watch Free Philadelphia Orchestra Pop-up Concerts

Philadelphia Orchestra members will perform for free at 32 random locations on September 23rd.

Don’t miss out: Philadelphia Orchestra members will perform for free at 32 random locations in the region on Monday.

The pop-up concerts are part of the orchestra’s fifth annual Audience Appreciation Day, and they’re happening all over Philadelphia and beyond. You’ll find performances at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, the Comcast Technology Center, and Jefferson Station, as well as smaller locations, like a Center City coffee shop, a Bryn Mawr retirement home, and a West Philly yoga studio.

The concerts kicked off at 9:30 a.m. and will run until 7:30 p.m. Expect each one to last about half an hour. Chances are there’s a performance scheduled somewhere near you — you’ll find a list of times and locations below.
