Attention children of the late 1980s and ’90s: Nickelodeon has announced that everybody’s favorite kids game show, Double Dare, will return to the network with brand-new episodes this summer! Somebody call Marc Summers and order a couple of dozen barrels of lime-green slime

“With Double Dare remaining an iconic touchstone for its original millennial audiences, the new version will feature the gameplay and challenges they remember, as well as appearances from blasts from the past and stars from today,” Nickelodeon said in a statement on Wednesday.

The original Double Dare first aired in 1986 with Summers, a Philly transplant, as the quiz show’s zany host. If you’re unfamiliar, the game is played between two teams that answer trivia and compete in messy physical challenges before the winner has to tackle the most epic obstacle course ever for a chance to win prizes like the coveted trip to Space Camp.

Today, Summers regularly appears on the Food Network shows Unwrapped and Guy’s Grocery Games when he’s not barnstorming with “Dunkel Dare,” his boozy adult-oriented version of Double Dare. Just remember to leave the expletives for the bar, Marc!
