The full surveillance video showing the March 31st abduction of seven-week-old Ahsir Simmons from the King of Prussia Mall has just been released. Cherie Amoore, 32, allegedly kidnapped the infant after befriending his mother; she walked with them through the mall, sat with them at the food court, then took the baby while his mother was distracted by another young child.

At around the three-minute mark in the video below, posted on 6abc.com, you can see the woman identified as Amoore picking the baby up out of his stroller with his mother looking on. Amoore can be seen bouncing the infant for a while before abruptly walking away, still holding the infant, as Ahsir’s mother tends to the other young child. The remainder of the footage shows Amoore walking quickly through the mall with the baby and, eventually, out the door and through the parking lot. Ahsir was recovered safely five hours later from Amoore’s home.

Although clips of the kidnapping, which showed Amoore leaving the mall with baby, circulated earlier this year, the full surveillance tape was ordered to be released by a judge late last week. Amoore is the daughter of Renee Amoore, the deputy chair of the Pennsylvania Republican Party.
