When you want to get money out of an ATM machine, you probably pull your ATM card out of your wallet, put it in the machine, punch in your code, and voila! But if you’re these two guys, you blow the ATM away with a shotgun.

Police say that an employee of Port Richmond’s Ming River Restaurant was cleaning up just before 2 a.m. on Sunday morning when he heard three loud bangs coming from the front of the store. When he went to investigate, he saw the two guys caught on the surveillance video (below). Police say they had just fired three shots at the poor ATM machine inside the restaurant.

Sadly for the perpetrators, they didn’t get any loot. As you’ll see in the video, their shotgun blasts seem to open up part of the ATM machine. But when they stick their hands inside of it, they find nothing.

Mission unaccomplished, the two men left the restaurant, climbed into a two-door car and fled east on Amber Street, say police.

Fortunately, the employee was unharmed. The ATM, not so much.
