Philadelphia Police Searching for 16-Year-Old Escaped Prisoner

Last seen in West Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

The Philadelphia Police Department is searching for 16-year-old escaped prisoner Haseem Singletary, seen here. He is wanted by police for three armed robberies.

Singletary, who lives on the 3900 block of Wallace Street in the Mantua section of Philadelphia, was being transported by private contractors from Florida into Philadelphia police custody when he escaped on Wednesday night at approximately 6:42 p.m.

Police say that Singletary was last seen in the vicinity of 56th Street and Osage Avenue in West Philadelphia. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black knee-length shorts with a stripe on the side, white socks and blue slip-on sneakers with white soles. Singletary was handcuffed at the time of his escape.
