So you’ve been together for … how long is it again? To spice things up, mix a little sweet romance (think Ryan Gosling in The Notebook) with some pure titillation (think Ryan Gosling in, well, life). And please — get out of your comfort zone.

Start by stargazing at Fels Planetarium (Center City, 215-448-1200) — hold hands and feel like dreamy adolescents again. Then get your hearts pumping with a private dance lesson at Society Hill Dance Academy (Society Hill, 215-574-3574), followed by a nightcap at the Good King Tavern (Bella Vista, 215-625-3700), a dim-lit corner bistro that’s more Paris than Bella Vista. Or make sipping the main event at Savona’s (Gulph Mills, 610-520-1200) Friday-night wine tastings. Book in advance — there are only 21 spots per class — and enjoy 90 minutes of swirling, swilling and, okay, getting tipsy.

Need a bit more alone-time? Head to New Hope and get a room at the Inn at Bowman’s Hill (New Hope, 215-862-8090). It’s quaint but mercifully free of B&B weirdness (no shared bathrooms; a breakfast-in-bed option). While you’re there, hop on the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad (New Hope, 215-862-2332) an old-timey train that takes passengers on a 45-minute tour of Bucks County. (There’s a bar cart!)

You might be looking to get straight to the point, and at the Velvet Lily (Midtown Village, 267-687-7973), talking about sex doesn’t feel silly. Book a one-hour private shopping session at Philly’s poshest X-rated shop. It costs $300, with the fee going toward a $500 spending minimum.

For a more PG version of bonding, take a couples yoga class at Amrita (Fishtown, 267-928-3176). You’ll move in unison, help each other through poses, and probably break out in giggles (which is fine). To really mix it up, try a class at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (Germantown, 215-849-1991). (Derring-do is sexy, even if you fall on your face.) Or work out the kinks with one of the many couples treatments (steams, wraps, massages, baths) at Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon (Glen Mills, 610-459-4663). Cap it off with a meal at the ultra-romantic and nearby Terrain Garden Café (Glen Mills, 610-459-2400) — and then, please, go get a room.
