Funeral Set for Shane Montgomery
Funeral services for Shane Montgomery, the West Chester University student whose body was pulled from the Schuylkill River over the weekend a month after he went missing, have been scheduled.
A viewing will be held Thursday, January 8, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church located at 146 Rector Street in Philadelphia.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 9, 2014 also at St. John the Baptist Church with visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and a mass following at 10:00 a.m.
NBC 10 adds: “The Philadelphia medical examiner’s office confirmed Sunday that Shane’s autopsy is complete. While the official results have not yet been made public, Shane’s uncle Kevin Verbrugghe told NBC10 his nephew’s death was likely accidental, based on conversations he’s had with investigators.”
