Gov. Corbett Decrees That PA Teens Shall Be Pasty
Signs law keeping teens out of tanning salons.
YDR.com reports: “Tanning salons won’t be allowed to let teenagers younger than 17 tan at their facilities, and 17-year-olds will be required to get written consent from a parent or guardian under legislation Gov. Tom Corbett signed into law on Tuesday.” Tanning salons are also being required to register with the state and pay new fees — part of an anti-cancer initiative from state Rep. Frank Farry, R-Bucks County.
