GIFs: Sixers Lose NBA Record-Tying 26th Straight

The 76ers are in the record books, tied for the most losses in NBA history. They can snap the streak Saturday (they probably won't).

We did it! Or, rather, they did it.

Last night, the Sixers lost to the Rockets, the team’s 26th loss in a row. The last team to lose 26 in a row: The 2010-11 Cavaliers, who are now… aw, crap!

Sorry, I hate to keep bringing that up. But the Sixers could get two great players in this year’s draft. It’s a possibility! And last night wasn’t completely full of bad news.

After this, Sixers play-by-play guy Mark Zumoff said it might be the play of the game already. Pretty sure it’s the play of the season! Casper Ware — who signed with the Sixers on March 24th — strips James Harden and hits a half-court buzzer beater! Unfortunately, this would be the lone highlight of the game for the Sixers.

Aw, poor guys. The Sixers get a chance to remain only tied for infamy when they take on the Pistons on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center. This is their best shot for a win in a while, so get pumped!
