Fumo Hospitalized, Has Internal Bleeding
Had prostate biopsy, which could be related.
6ABC reports: “Action News has learned former State Senator Vince Fumo has been hospitalized after suffering from internal bleeding. According to sources, Fumo recently underwent a prostate biopsy, which could be related to the bleeding. He was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital Monday afternoon.”
The Daily News adds: “Ralph Cipriano, a former Inquirer reporter who blogs at BigTrial.net and is writing a biography with Fumo, said the former senator called him while on his way to the hospital. Cipriano said that Fumo told him he was bleeding from several places, felt dizzy and might need a blood transfusion.”
