PA Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Named Best of the Year
The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) just announced its annual awards that recognize “excellence in local chambers” across the country, and Central Pennsylvania’s branch, CPGLCC, will receive the most coveted prize, 2013 Chamber of the Year, for the work it’s done to “expand the economic interests of LGBT owned and allied businesses through advocacy, education and partnerships with the local business community.”
In a press release, NGLCC Co-Founder and President Justin Nelson praises chamber President Deb McClain and her board for “their work to partner with major corporations, develop educational programming and promote national LGBT business certification. The dedication of their team never fails to impress us.”
CPGLCC will officially receive the award in two weeks at the 2013 National Business & Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.
Congrats!
