Sixers’ Spencer Hawes Fined for Playing Basketball

Yahoo! Sports reports that the NBA has fined several basketball players $15,000 each…for playing basketball. Among them was Sixer Spencer Hawes, playing in an alumni game at his alma mater at the University of Washington. See,this is why the Sixers will never be good. Sure, playing in unsanctioned games is a violation of the collective bargaining contracts the players agreed to. But come on! Spencer needs practice! [Yahoo!]
