Philly Officer in Coma After Fight With Suspect
Officer Michael Gwynn, 31, is in a medically induced coma at Albert Einstein Medical Center after an overnight struggle with a suspect. The officer was trying to arrest the 42-year-old man just after midnight on Friday morning when the scuffle broke out; when other officers arrived, Gwynn was unconscious. The officers performed CPR, keeping him alive until he arrived at the hospital. Authorities are still investigating why and how the incident happened. [My Fox Philly]
